Mein grüner Stoffstapel hat sich nicht großartig verringert. Da es mir soviel Spaß gemacht hat, werde ich mir für das kommende Jahr ein ähnliches Projekt vornehmen. Diesmal jedoch in moderner Form.
This is my yearly quilt. 48 squares within 48 weeks, the rest will follow til the end of the year. My green stash of fabric is only slightly reduced. Because I had so much fun doing this I certainly will plan a similar project for next year using contemporary design this time.
Und so sieht der Quilt von hinten aus. Auch nicht schlecht, oder? Durch die "quilt as you go" Methode sind alle Quadrate schon fertig. Diese Methode werde ich am 53. Quadrat meinen Lesern erläutern.
This is how the backside looks like. The "quilt as you go" method makes it possible to finish each square individually. I will post a tutorial for my readers when I finishg my 53rd. block.
