Yesterday I received the book from Amazon.de I had ordered for my birthday "the painted quilt" by Laura & Linda Kemshall

Einfach herrlich für Leute, die gerne malen und Stoffe mit Farben bearbeiten wollen. Da beide Frauen viele ihrer Anregungen aus der Natur nehmen, arbeiten sie vorwiegend mit organischen Formen.

Its a wonderful book for all who love to paint and to try different technics . As both women get most of their inspirations from nature they use organic shapes in their work.

Ich arbeite gerne abstrakt und lasse mich mit Vorliebe durch architektonische Elemente inspirieren. Wie zum Beispiel durch das Gebäude des Chicagoer Architekten Frank LLoyd Wright auf dem Foto weiter unten. Meine daraus entstandene moderne Komposition gefällt mir richtig gut, erinnert mich sogar an Nancy Crows constructions , obwohl kopieren nie meine Absicht war.
I prefere to work contemporary style and I am fascinated by modern buildings like the one on the photo below, designed by Frank LLoyd Wright Chicago 's famous architect . I am pleased with my composition I created, it even reminds me of Nancy Crow's construction, although I never intended to copy .
